Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a recommended level of heat?

Heat is distributed faster and more evenly with our patented Thermowave™ design, resulting in optimal cooking temperatures. Our recommendation is to start cooking at a lower or medium heat temperature and increase if necessary. With DiamondClad™ you rarely need to cook on high heat.

How should I clean my DiamondClad™ pan?

Stainless steel can stain, despite what its name implies. Fortunately, DiamondClad™ staining is easy to remove. To remove the stain, use steel wool scouring pads or abrasive cleaners such as Bar Keepers Friend. By using these and warm soapy water, you will be able to restore your pan to its former glory.

What is the best way to season my DiamondClad™ pans?

Before using your DiamondClad™ cookware for the first time, it's important to season the pan properly. This will help ensure that your food doesn't stick to the pan and that it cooks evenly. Seasoning only needs to be done before the first use, and not before every use.

The following steps will help you properly season your pans:

1. Wash your pan with warm soapy water. Dry.

2. Heat your pan on medium-low heat. Spread 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil around the interior of the pan.

3. Keep the pan on the heat for 1-2 minutes.

4. You're now ready to start cooking. Simple, no?

Over the first few weeks after you begin using your DiamondClad™ advanced Hybrid cookware, it will continue to season from the fats in the food you cook. If you notice any sticking after owning the pans for a while, we recommend giving the pan a deep clean with a more abrasive sponge and then seasoning the pan again.

Is it possible to scratch my DiamondClad™ pans?

Using metal utensils like metal spatulas, whisks, spoons, and other metal utensils with your cookware will not cause any damage. But sharp utensils could leave a scratch. You don't have to worry about using them with your Diamond Clad™ pans. If a scratch does occur, it will be purely cosmetic and will not affect the performance or safety of the cookware.

Can you tell me what is covered by your Lifetime Warranty?

Our Lifetime Warranty will not cover any damages done to the cookware as a result of a food service setting, abuse, misuse, or if the product has been altered in any way. Additionally, over time it's normal for surface imperfections to appear on the cookware. This is considered normal wear and tear and it will not affect how the cookware functions.

Our warranty is valid for consumers who have a proof of purchase. If the product was not purchased new from DiamondClad™ our campaign page or other authorized source, then the warranty is void.

Under our warranty, the manufacturer is only liable for repairing or replacing the defective product--not for any incidental or consequential damages, direct or indirect.
